Myra Drouillard has worked with non-profits in Silicon Valley for many years and finds connecting the community with many local resources very rewarding. She also enjoys volunteering within her community. She has served as an educational trainer and has conducted various training workshops as well as tutoring at the correctional facility and has worked with migrant workers teaching English as a second language. Myra is a graduate of Notre Dame de Namur University and although she started her path towards teaching and is a substitute teacher for the Redwood City School District she missed the daily contact with the community at large. She is very happy to join the staff at St. Francis Center in Redwood City and feels aligned with the mission of the center of helping families in need to live in dignity and become self-supporting members of the community.

Jackie has been a part of St. Francis Center for almost nine years. She fondly remembers starting out volunteering in the donation room sorting the items as them came into the center. Within three weeks she moved to the front to help families as they came in for assistance. Soon she could be seen darting between the donation room to the front and to the clothing store all within a few minutes. She is key to the smooth running of the donation process and states firmly, “I love my job!” When she is not at the center she is managing the St. Clare Apartments for St. Francis Center. She also is a mom to twin teenagers!
