A Life-Changing Gift for Andrea Hernandez
Andrea Hernandez

Born and raised in Redwood City, Andrea Hernandez is a devoted mother to two wonderful children, ages 14 and 6. She has worked to strengthen families and uplift youth through El Concilio of San Mateo County and the Siena Youth Center, while earning her Bachelor’s degree.

Andrea is deeply invested in her children’s education and growth. She is a proud graduate of the Holy Family School Parent Empowerment Program, a journey she shared with her son, Angel Lopez, who graduated from Holy Family School last year.

Andrea faces a health crisis: Alport Syndrome, a rare genetic condition causing kidney failure. She needs a kidney transplant, with a living donor offering the best chance for a healthy future.

Andrea is bravely asking for help. You can support her by learning about kidney donation, starting a confidential screening, or sharing her story.
