CASE MANAGEMENT SERVICES

In partnership with El Concilio of San Mateo County, we are pleased to announce that case managers will be at the St. Francis Center every Thursday from 10:30 am to 1:30 pm to assist community members with a variety of needs and services. El Concilio is committed to increasing education, employment, and access to quality-of-life services to underserved communities in San Mateo County. Under the leadership of Executive Director Dr. Ana Angel Avendaño, their bilingual, compassionate case management team will assist with applications for a variety of programs and benefits, including rental assistance, Med-Cal, WIC, CalFresh, affordable housing, PG&E utility programs, employment programs, and much more!

COMMUNITY GARDEN DAY

Members of our gardening community will gather on Saturday, March 23rd, from 1 pm to 2 pm to celebrate spring, pull the weeds, and mix in the compost to prepare their garden beds for the new season! Thank you to Hassett Ace Hardware and Rethink Waste for providing seeds and compost!

ST. FRANCIS CENTER CLOSED

The Center will be closed March 29th through April 5th for Easter and Spring Break. May you be inspired by the joy, hope and renewal found in this beautiful season.

‘BLOOMS!’ PRESENTED BY ST. FRANCIS CENTER AUXILIARY

On Thursday, April 11, at 11 am, long-time volunteer and Landscape Designer Fran Albrecht will give a container gardening demonstration in the beautiful garden at St. Denis Church in Menlo Park. Donations are $50 per person and include a boxed lunch. Please RSVP by April 5 to Ellen Jones: emcjones@hotmail.com. Checks may be mailed to St. Francis Auxiliary, Attn. Katy Kelly, P.O. Box 340, Menlo Park, CA 94026. Proceeds benefit the St. Francis Center.

GALA EVENT

Our much-anticipated annual fundraising Gala will be held at the Menlo Circus Club in October. While details have yet to be revelaed, the upcoming gathering promises an evening of celebration, community engagement, and support for the center’s mission.
