Box Global Impact Day

On December 9, St. Francis Center’s Executive Director Kate Young was honored to participate as a panelist for Box Global Impact Day, hosted in partnership with Box’s Social Impact team. The panel spotlighted the pressing issue of food insecurity in North Fair Oaks and the surrounding region. Kate joined fellow panelists Angie Ibarra Miller of Levantar and Lorena Melgarejo of Faith in Action Bay Area, with Rafael Avendaño, Executive Director of Redwood City Together, serving as moderator. The community conversation shed light on the current realities of local families and underscored the importance of collaboration across sectors to address these challenges.
