Preparing for the Holiday Season Together
With the shutdown now behind us, we want to extend our gratitude to our local community for their overwhelming support. People from all walks of life generously donated food to help our Food Pantry meet the increased demand.
Now, we can turn our attention to the holiday season and the specific needs you can assist us with, including Thanksgiving turkeys and Christmas chickens, so everyone in our community can enjoy a festive meal. Additionally, we are collecting toy donations for our Holiday Toy Drive giveaway, which will take place on December 9-10 at the Siena Youth Center. Your support makes a difference, and we thank you for your generosity!
We are incredibly grateful to the many organizations that have already stepped up to support us in our turkey and chicken drives. We extend our heartfelt thanks to Sacred Heart School of Atherton, Saint Francis High School, Trinity Presbyterian Church, St. Raymond’s, Valley Presbyterian Church, and the Unitarian Universalist Fellowship of Redwood City, among many others.
Food Pantry Donations: Donations of turkeys, chickens, and other essential food items may be dropped off from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM, Monday through Friday, at St. Francis Center, located at 151 Buckingham Avenue, Redwood City, CA 94063.
Toy Donation Days: Toys will be accepted on December 1-5 and December 8. Donations can be dropped off from 9:00 AM to 1:30 PM at St. Francis Center, 151 Buckingham Avenue, Redwood City, CA 94063.
